Dear Alice

Yes, Alice in Wonderland...
I remember a pack of books from my childhood. My uncle gave it to me and my sister. It included about 8 best known fairy tales. Only these were not the usual stories that you would start reading from top and then whatever follows. Not quite. The stories had more than just one very best ending, and trough the reading you had to decide where you want to take the character. Actually the book is written in a way that you are the main character.
For example.. Reading Alice in Wonderland.
The book would ask you: ( I made these up)
- I should help Tweedledum and Tweedledee find that mushroom. (go to page 23)
- Go back to the doorknob. Maybe it needs a drop of oil to stop being so grumpy. (continue on the next page)
- I`d rather stay here and explore the garden a bit more. (Go to page 16)

I loved those books, they let you decide where you want the story to go.. and you could read them a few times and have different endings...
Isn`t that marvelous!
But why I started this... I went to see the movie ... and although I have heard a few accusations about it (and I must say I agree with a few) ... all in all I simply love it.
And how funny that just today I unexpectedly got the Lewis Carroll Complete Fully Illustrated Works on lends.

Oh.. and I would love to have a
secret garden tea party every now and then :)
